Good afternoon, or evening when this might find you! We are releasing three new wines to the public the weekend of November 5-6. They are: 2009 Petite Verdot, 2010 Orange Muscat, and the long awaited 2009 Port....Heart of Darkness. We welcome you all to taste, and buy, the new wines and also to taste the grape seed oils we have been carrying for a time now. We first fell in love with these oils at a winery on Red Mountain when we tasted them for the first time and wanted to share them with our winery family. Now we'll set them out with dipping bread so you also can fall in love with them. Come on in and share the new flavors with us! Dana & Sandi Madsen, Winemakers Madsen Family Cellars |

Madsen Family Cellars has seen fit to create a bona fide professional mailing list allowing people to sign themselves up and manage their own subscriptions and limit the winery's outgoing emails to 300/hour to remain in good standing with our hosting provider. From here on out, barring unforseen circumstances, Madsen Family Cellars promises to not send duplicate emails and also to not send emails to people who have asked to be removed from the mailing list. You will also notice that you can now buy wine from us over the internet using google checkout, provided you can also send money over the aether. That is all. -Bjørn |

Hello all, I've been so consumed by setting up the bottling schedule for the 2009 red wines that I have neglected to inform you all of an upcoming event. As you know, Madsen Family Cellars has welcomed two new wineries to our area....within a mile of our winery. Stottle Winery and Northwest Mountain Winery, to be precise. Well, we have gotten together with a few other wineries close by and formed a local association which we call "South Sound Wine Tour" since we are all located at the south end of Puget Sound. To encourage folks to come down and check us all out, we offered a "passport" tasting event between August 12 to 21. It workedout well and lots of new folks checked out all our wineries. Look forward to seeing you all at the "new Woodinville" here in Olympia! Thanks! Dana & Sandi Madsen Madsen Family Cellars |
